Life
Ancestry: Trinidadian and Tobagonian American, Irish American
Logan was born of Irish and Trinidadian descent. She is of Irish descent from her mother’s side and of Trinidadian ancestry from her father’s side.
Her parents split when she was still quite young. Following this, Samantha was raised by her mother, Colleen Logan. At 10, she convinced her mother to move to Manhattan, New York, only to follow her love for acting.
She joined the Professional Performing Arts (middle) School to study musical theater and then attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia Arts High School (Fame) to complete her high-school studies, eventually majoring in drama. She had the opportunity to work as a protégé for well-known choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Laurieann Gibson, Brian Friedman, and Dave Scott.
Samantha Logan began dating actor Dylan Sprayberry, her Teen Wolf co-star, in 2017. Dylan is also known for his role in the film Man of Steel. Dylan and Samantha were often seen sharing their pictures together on social media. During Christmas 2018, Samantha shared a photo of them on Instagram, with the caption 2013 -2018.

The series was canceled after one season in 2013. Logan later was cast in the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital as Taylor DuBois.
From 2014 to 2015, she had a recurring role as Tia Stephens in the ABC Family drama The Fosters. In 2015, Logan was regular cast member in the unaired ABC prime time soap opera Members Only and in 2016 guest starred on the 300th episode of NCIS. Also in 2016, Logan starred in the NBC soap opera pilot Cruel Intentions.
